The Black House Ant prefers to live outside, and can often have a nest outside
a house e.g. underneath plastic rubbish bin in the pavers. They trail inside for food
and water. They are notorious for ruining sweet foods. Occasionally they
have also been known to nest in buildings (e.g. walls and roofs). They trail in 1-2 ants wide
and trail around objects put in their way. They are a average to small sized black ant.
TREATMENT: An initial inspection to locate the nest(s) is important. If the nest (s)
can located they can be destroyed immediately. A standard Aces Ant treatment will control the
